In general, the bedrooms are spacious and well appointed, with ensuite in the master bedrooms; in fact most of the villas have almost as many bathrooms as they do bedrooms. If you enjoy cooking, you will love the facilities in the kitchen. Range ovens, microwaves and those big American style fridges and all the equipment you need to create your favourite meal. Of course, because you will have saved so much money on your accommodation compared to a hotel, you won't have to eat in if you don’t want to. The value that a villa rental offers means you have the freedom to choose.
All along the Florida Gulf Coast there are plenty of fabulous beaches with local restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines. They also cater for a variety of budgets and individual tastes. You can choose to snack in a bar at midday or enjoy a lovely restaurant meal; there is always a variety of different cuisines to choose from. Or why not push the boat out – literally, and hire a boat and explore all the little islands until you find that perfect place to eat and enjoy the surroundings.
Cabbage Key is a perfect example. You cannot reach this island by car, but when you get there it is an idyllic place to dine (probably because it trickier to get to); you never know, you might even see the dolphins playing in the bay, or spot a manatee on the way.
But if this does not appeal, why not pack a picnic and spend the day at the beach or exploring the area. How would you like to barbecue round the pool, at the end of a long hot summers' day; and what about a refreshing, chilled glass of wine or a cold beer to go with it? Well, it is just a short walk to your spacious fridge!
The freedom you will experience by staying in villa is more than money can buy. If you are looking for a special place that has luxurious surroundings, is completely yours for the duration to relax in and enjoy, then you really cannot do better than a luxury villa holiday.
